It looks like I will be having a weapon training session Thursdays, in the gym, from 5 - 7 p.m. I am unsure when this will begin, as I am awaiting the approval of the college. Currently, there is an Aikido class that is in session in half of the gym. I am checking with the instructors of that class, whether or not it is okay to practice next door. Essentially, whether or not we will be too disruptive.

Just to keep everyone informed, we are still having the Thursday evening weapon training nights. We start around 5:00 pm and run till around 7:00 pm. We meet on the lawn between East and West Hall. I highly encourage all new members to attend, as this will help improve your technique greatly. Most that are currently attending are veteran members that are more than willing to help you learn.
We have currently been working on drills and then break into sparring groups to employ the lessons of the day. We also teach how to fight with certain weapon styles, and how to fight against other styles. If you want to learn certain styles, please let us know and bring the appropriate equipment. We will also be more than happy to train you in certain weapons i.e. Reds, archery, spears. Please bring your own weapon for the requested style, as we may not have everything you want to learn.

I will not be attending the Thursday evening weapon training from now on. I have joined a DnD game that I wish to continue until I move away from the area. Good luck to those continuing your training. Don't be afraid to ask for advice on Sundays, just be sure to do so quietly or you may have 10 people telling you how to do something, all at once.
