Since our practice between East and West Hall has been a rather telling one, with several incidents and complaints about the mesh grating below the ground hurting knees, we have decided to move to our old, old practice area.
I'm not sure how best to describe the area other than it is between the two ones we have been using. Just drive to the next parking lot from the one between east and west hall and there you are. Right next to the area they plowed out for parking that is never used, on the opposite side from where we used to practice.

Facing the diamond from the road, it's to the right of it, next to the basketball court, at that parking area.

So when it rains, where do you go? Do you just cancel or reschedule?

Personally I think rain-fighting can be fun. Unfortunately few share that sentiment.
Usually practices are cancelled, since the Gym space we use in winter HAS to be reserved and booked ahead of time.
Which is a bummer, cause I was really looking forward to a good fight.

I was looking forward to it too, wanted to meet more people, learn more about the combat. I was there last Thursday and three others showed up lent me wepons and shield and trained me. A fourth showed up just to meet me to help with garb. (not sure if I am supposed to mention names and I only remember half of the names). I had a great time. The clan(?) treated me well, only one bad injury and it didn't happen to me and I didn't do it. Was offered a lot of free advice and help. Very happy I was there, even more so since Sunday did not happen.

lol Inside joke about a really stupid weapon checker who was complaining that we brought a wet weapon to get checked.... While it was pouring rain outside.
