Plasti-Dip is simply a liquid acrylic/rubber of some sort, that comes in either a spray can or a container that is used with a brush. It comes in multiple colors. You can use this magic little substance on your weaponry with great effect. It's great for reinforcing the high-stress points on the outside of the weapon, like the pommel and the guard. And for the artists in us all, they are easily able to be painted by acrylic paints. The creative possibilities are endless. Since the Plasti-Dip seals the entire surface, decorations on the weapon are kept safe, coated with a thin rubber. Here are a few examples of Plasti-dip weaponry: www.dagorhir.com/forums/index.php?topic=15861.0 A very nice axe, made by Danoth. Orc weaponry Ftw. www.dagorhir.com/forums/index.php?topic=15840.0A spear from Morlock. Interested? I sure am. Here is anotha nifty link, to the ultimate Plasti-dip tutorial by Wynar. Have fun! www.dagorhir.com/forums/index.php?topic=15445.0**Remember, Plasti-Dip is not a legal striking surface. For swords in particular, you cannot have plasti-dip on the striking edge. Although it may be possible to put plasti-dip UNDER the cloth required for a striking edge, be careful. It might make the weapon hit too hard. Also, do not leave plasti-dip weaponry in direct sunlight. Bad things will happen, trust me.**
