Yeah they still stock it... it's where we make pilgrimages to get more when we run dry.

they always have Walmart in cheboygan fully stocked. (about 10 rolls?) Noone dags in cheboygan, so I get it all to myself so you should pilgramige here, then we can hang out more and have crazy viking shenanigans ;p OH, we could all be in garb, and buy them out one day, and we can all get in the same line, even if there are open lanes, it will be a sight to see!

So the cadillac store? You realize my folks live in Lake City, which is the closest town to cadillac. I might be able to wrangle the occasional trip there.

So this is the stuff I need? www.walmart.com/ip/Ozark-Trial-Camping-Pad-Blue/16783660Notice on the walmart site they spelled TRAIL as trIAL I bought a blue camping pad from Meijer's thinking it's the same...is it or is it not? As another 45 minute one way trip to a store is rather a pain. Chris

So I checked out Wal-Mart in Cadillac. They are currently out of blue foam and probably wont have any more for almost 3 weeks as it is on a "continuous" order. Good news, they checked the computer and as of this morning T.C. had 27 rolls of blue foam. So we went to a Beach Bums game and I stopped by. No blue foam on the shelf! I talked to the manager of toys/sporting goods and asked her to check in the back. At first she didn't want to do it, until I told her about Cadillac telling me that she had some and I wanted it. So for my arrogance, I was made to wait about 20 minutes while she "looked". She found a box, I took 2 rolls and she put the other 2 rolls on the shelf. So if you stop by the T.C. Wal-Mart and no blue rolls of foam are out on the shelf...make them get it out of the back! Also I found these 2 items and I'm looking for some advice. The first item is 2 blocks of foam used as "Yoga Blocks" that just scream HAMMER or AXE...or HAXE? Looks like all you'd have to do is put a handle on it and some cloth. Here's a picture of it, and no I didn't research if anyone has used this stuff before but I'll bring it to practice for further advise. If I can't use it for Dag my wife can use them in her yoga. www.walmart.com/ip/Danskin-Now-Yoga-Blocks-and-Strap-Kit-Sage/12167851 The size of the blocks are 9"x6"x3" about $10, I bought the BLUE colored ones. Also I found this crazy thing and it seems to be made out the same stuff they make Crocs shoes. It's dimensions are 30 1/4"x7 1/2"x2" It's called the Ocean Pacific (OP) Subskate Pro. As a toy it looks impossible, and kids probably end up using it as a kickboard more than underwater skateboarding. It was about $15 and if I can't use it then my daughter can swim in the lake with it. www.poolsupplies.com/cgi-bin/commerce.exe?key=634209&preadd=action&utm_source=nextag&utm_medium=cse&gdftrk=gdfV2589_a_7c692_a_7c2676_a_7c634209 I couldn't find a link for it on the Wal-Mart site but there was at least one more left when I walked out the door. I figured if I can use it, it could be easily shaped. Chris

So I just finished reading alot about yoga blocks on the Dag message boards. Yup the more I read....the more I realize I just need to spend some time with a good foamsmith. Any offers? I'll bring the stuff I bought and if we need to go to the store to buy more materials for you to show me what to do I am certainly up to doing so. We can smith at my place or yours. Since I live an hour south of T.C. I am certainly willing to drive to you.

We have been foamsmithing in my garage lately. However it may be a week or so before the "forge" is open. My buddy has his Blazer over here right now and we are in the middle of painting it. As soon as that project is done I can host another session. (possibly after practice Sunday.) We can talk at practice about when would be a good time. I know a couple of us have projects in the works that need to be completed.
